Here the immediate reference is to five parts of God's creation, that are the basic principles of faith, and all have unbreakable connection with each other:-

      1-The creation of heavens, and the suspension of celestial bodies and planets without a visible rope, or pillar to hang them on.

      2-The creation of the mountains for earth's stability.

      3-The creation of the moving creatures.

      4-The creation of water, as the main source of life.

      5-The creation of plants and vegetations to feed the moving creatures.

      The qualification of heavens, being without pillars to be seen; implies that the celestial bodies do have invisible pillars, but we cannot see it with our unaided eyes.

      As to the mountains we read in verse NO.10:-

      ``He cast upon the earth firm mountains that the earth may not shake you.''

      This means that the mountains are a means of stability for the earth. The roots of mountains are joined and like an armour they protect the earth against internal pressures. Had it not been so, destructive earthquakes would be too many and unbearable.

      The mountains also serve to reduce the moon's gravitational attraction, thereby reducing the hazards of low-tide, and high-tide. They also serve to moderate the tempests and extensive violent winds.

      Then the moving creatures are referred to, and their principle means of livelihood, which is water and vegetation:-

      ``And We sent down from the sky, water, and cause to grow in it of all the generous pairs.''

      Then there comes a serious question which is to be answered by those who take persons or things other than Allah for worship:-

      ``Allah has created these, then show me what have your partners created that you worship them as gods?''

      Without any doubt the answer will be negative, and the polytheists must admit that they are afflicted in an unjust error.
