مَا یُقَالُ لَکَ إِلاَّ مَا قَدْ قِیلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِنْ قَبْلِکَ إِنَّ رَبَّکَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَة وَذُو عِقَاب أَلِیم(( 43 ))
43- NOTHING IS SAID ABOUT YOU (OF INADMISSIBLE ATTRIBUTES) EXCEPT THAT WHICH WAS SAID ABOUT THE MESSENGERS WHO WERE BEFORE YOU. VERILY YOUR LORD IS THE LORD OF FORGIVENESS, AND (ALSO) THE LORD OF PAINFUL PUNISHMENT.
وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآناً أَعْجَمِیّاً لَقَالُوا لَوْلاَ فُصِّلَتْ آیَاتُهُ أَأَعْجَمِىٌّ وَعَرَبِىٌّ قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِینَ آمَنُوا هُدًى وَشِفَاءٌ وَالَّذِینَ لاَ یُؤْمِنُونَ فِی آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَیْهِمْ عَمًى أُوْلَئِکَ یُنَادَوْنَ مِنْ مَکَان بَعِید(( 44 ))
44- HAD WE REVEALED IT A NON-ARABIC QURÄN, THEY WOULD HAVE SAID; WHY ITS VERSES HAVE NOT BEEN EXPOUNDEDِA NON-ARABIC (LANGUAGE) BY AN ARAB (PROPHET)? SAY:- ``IT IS A GUIDANCE AND CURE FOR THE BELIEVERS.'' AND THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE, THEY HAVE A HEAVINESS IN THEIR EARS, AND TO THEM IT IS A BLINDNESS; AS IF THEY ARE CALLED FROM A FAR DISTANCE.
وَلَقَدْ آتَیْنَا مُوسَى الْکِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِیهِ وَلَوْلاَ کَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّکَ لَقُضِىَ بَیْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِی شَکّ مِنْهُ مُرِیب(( 45 ))
45- AND VERILY WE GAVE MOSES THE BOOK (TOWRÄT), THEN THEY FELL AT VARIANCE ABOUT IT. HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR A WORD PRECEDED FROM YOUR LORD, (THE MATTER) WOULD HAVE BEEN JUDGED BETWEEN THEM; AND THEY ARE STILL IN DOUBT OF IT, SUSPICIOUSLY.
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحاً فَلِنَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَیْهَا وَمَا رَبُّکَ بِظَلاَّم لِلْعَبِیدِ(( 46 ))
46- HE WHO DOES RIGHTEOUS DEEDS, DOES IT FOR HIS OWN GOOD. AND HE WHO DOES EVIL DEEDS, DOES IT AGAINST HIMSELF; AND YOUR LORD IS NOT OPPRESSOR TO SERVANTS.
