Verses 9-12Verses 6-8

The above verses apply to the polytheists and to their end. Mohammad (SA) our prophet, has been addressed here that, he is not responsible for the folly and ingratitude of his people. His duty is only to convey the message of God. He has no power over the people so as to force them to work against their free will that god has bestowed on them. The Final Judgement on what Man does, of good or bad, rests with Allah.

The righteous as well as the wrong-doer are both in pledge of their own deeds, and they cannot escape the punishment that accrues from their evil deeds, which is in accordance with God's Universal Law and Plan.

At the final Judgement a group of people will be lodged in Paradise, and the second group will have to take their abode in the Hell.

had Allah willed he would have made them all believers and one single believing nation, but what is the use of faith when it is not supported by actions in the way of progress and evolution. The question here is that of evolution, and man's development, which may end in Paradise. But if Man's choice is to fall down, no one can make him to raise up:-

``And so did We inspire you with an Arabic Qurän, that you may warn the Mother of the towns....''

Qurän was and is, intelligible by all the common people whose mother's tongue is Arabic, or those who may use a correct version of it in other languages.

As to the Mother of the towns, Mecca is wanted, for being the center of Islam and the Qibleh of all Moslems, without any exception of sect, race, or nationality. So also her suborb is all the world.
