Verses 44-46Verses 41-43

No one has to blame the oppressed, when he defends himself or asks for other's help in that. It is his right to cut out the oppressing hands from the realm of his life and living. Here the blame is on those who treat people unjustly, and rebel in defiance of right on the land, due to arrogance and pride.

But those who endure the injures and hurts done with patience, and are willing to forgive and overlook are different, that they belong to a higher class of Man. This is because it is not easy to be patient and forgiving, when we are unjustly oppressed by some arrogant people who work in defiance of right and truth. By instinct, and naturally, we want to punish the guilty to satisfy our thirst for vengeance, but having patience and to forgive is the most noble way to quench the fire of emotions and anger.

Even if there must be an avenge or a punishment, it is better to arise from a judicial motive and not merely from personal anger. It is better to be said:- ``He was punished by the LAW, and not by such and such.''
