LIFE AND DEATH ARE IN HIS HANDS. HE IS CAPABLE OF DOING ANYTHING.

The second verse describes the purpose of creating the heavens and the earth is to let the people know about the Knowledge and power of God. It is said:

“God is He who has created the seven firmaments and the earth, in similar number, and commands are sent down amidst them, that you may know that God has power over all things.”

So the creation of the vast skies and the vast terrain of the earth and the continuity of his management is the best proof of His all controlling powers because in this arrangement of the universe every kind of creation exists. There was a great debate over the seven heavens and the earth and we have discussed about it Tafsir Namuna (1)
