What is the science of names? (Ilmul Asmaa)3. Can there be caution in hiding of the truth (Taqayya) together with infallibility?

There is no doubt that a great amount of knowledge and enlightenment is required for the leaders of mankind and especially for the leaders sent by God. The apostleship of the chosen ones encircles the both the body and the soul of man. In other words their preaching is related to the spiritual and social life of man. So it is necessary that their knowledge should be imperfect with no scope of mistakes intentional or otherwise so that they do not lead men astray as God’s representatives. People should rely on them rather denounce them. This is why God has armed them with knowledge and enlightenment. We find this in the verses of Qura’n and the following verses clear proofs for all from Adam to the last Messenger.

God bestowed knowledge and enlightenment on Adam so much so that the angels accepted his superiority in knowledge and all affairs of this world and then prostrated before him.

Verses 32 to 33 of Surah Baqarah say:

“Glory is for you; we have no knowledge save what you have taught us; verily you alone are the all-knowing all-wise. He said, “O Adam! Tell them the names”

And when he had told them the names (the Lord) said, “Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth and I know that which you declare and conceal.”

To come to a conclusion about this issue it is important that we have the knowledge of certain things.
