Verses 4-7Verses 2-3

EITHER PEACE OR HONOURABLE SEPARATION
VERSE NO. 2-3
The argument about divorce still continues with some other rulings:-
``Then when their waiting term ended, either keep them or separate honourably.''
The verse implies that the spouses should either live together with loyalty or part esteemably.
To make it general, Mankind should treat each other honourably in all aspects of their frienship and transactions.
Taking witnesses for marriage is not an obligation although recommended, but in the case of a divorce calling to witness two men of justice, is incumbent because it is some sort of public notification, and evidences, which ensures that none of the spouses will act unjustly or selfishly. It must be made sure that everything is done properly and according to GOD's known laws and regulations.
Here, almost all the endings of verses have the demand of being aware of God and observing piety, because a judge can provide less satisfactory solution than the ``FEAR FAITH OF GOD''. Allah usually provides solution from the most unexpected way, so that even the avowed enemies may be reconciled by His guidance and mysterious way that He can pave.
Piety and virtue may always solve the most difficult problems in a mysterious way which is unknown to Man!
Another important virtue for Man is to put his trust in God, asking him to remove his difficulties. In his trust and confidence, he knows that no one can harm or profit without the permission of our Lord. So, his reliance in God will make him feel that he is not alone or weak. He therefore will never abandon to despair, that where there is hope, there is life.
