Verses 31-37Verses 21-30

HELL THE GREAT AMBUSH
VERSE NO. 21-30
Now, the reference is to the fate of the companions of the Hell and Paradise:-
``Verily, the Hell is a great ambush and destination of the transgressors, who will have to dwell there for a long period.''
The Arabic, ``MERSAD'' is a place in which a hunter may wait in ambush for the pray.
The Arabic ``MAAB'' means destination, homecoming, return. Its another shade of meaning is ``STATION''.
Most of the punishments in the life to come are only the incarnation, and embodiment of our evil deeds in this material world. Therefore, all the sufferings are appropriate recompenses, and only the outcome of our own deeds. Therefore, Hell is the incarnation of evil, lying in wait as an ambush for all of us. So, we should be very careful, and seriously avoid evil.
In other word, Hell is the definite destination of those who willfully rebel against God, and violate His laws that are legislated for their own good.
Some sinners are so unfortunate that they will have to abide in their punishment, and may be in that Fine for a long or a short period, and when they cleansed, they will be released.
As a matter of fact, Allah has not created the Hell for the purpose of taking vengeance. It rather is a means for purification of the soul of Man and for curing his spiritual disease. When the sin has penetrated deeply through the soul of Man, it will take a relatively long time to be cleansed and prepared to suit a life in the Kingdom of God.
When a sinner yields his soul to evil, the fruits of sins will impair his spiritual powers and faculties progressively and so the penalty that he has to suffer will gradually increase too.
